How To Find Us

Wether you're coming by land, sea or air we getting to The Hut is part of the fun.

By Land

Please set PO40 9NP into your sat nav, there is parking in Colwell Bay car park and if this is full on Colwell Chine Road, on busy days you may need to park on Colwell Common which is a 500 meter walk from the restaurant. Once parked, walk down to the slipway and before you get you feet wet turn left - you can't miss us. The slipway is a little steep and can be slippery, if you need assistance walking down here let us know and someone can come and help. Should you require a local taxi, please ask us on booking and we can arrange to collect you and return you home, for taxis from further afield we ask that you arrange these yourself.

By Sea

Ribs and smaller craft can easily anchor off the front of the restaurant (20 yards out to sea from the white buoy) just off the restaurant. Here your boat will be safe at low springs. Larger yachts may need to anchor a little further out. Anchorage is very good and there are very few rocks. Simply call the restaurant or give us a wave and someone will be on hand to collect you in our tender. Should we not be able to run our tender service due to poor weather we will send you a text message in the morning advising you to go to Yarmouth harbour where we will run a shuttle service to the restaurant in The Hut Truck. Our nearest ferry is the Wightlink Lymington - Yarmouth route which takes cars and passengers. We can arrange collection from the ferry subject to availability, please let us know on booking.

By Air

We have landing space for up to five large helicopters, please let us know if you are ariving by helicopter on booking and we can arrange landing and transfers. There is a £10 landing fee per helicopter which is donated to 'Polly's Challenge'.
